Posey® Universal Side Rail and Headboard/Footboard Wedges are designed for use with a broad range of hospital beds to help protect patients from injury or entrapment by closing gaps around the perimeter of the bed.
 

Side Rail Wedge (Universal)

The Posey Side Rail Wedge is designed to help protect patients from injury or entrapment by closing gaps along the bed side rails. This safety product provides the following features:

  • Hook-and-loop straps for easy attachment
  • Made of durable medium-density foam to help safeguard against accidental patient injury
  • Wipe-clean, water-repellant cover
  • Can be adjoined (via sewn-in zipper) to a second Posey Side Rail Wedge or to a Posey Horseshoe Wedge (see SKU 5730, listed below) for expanded coverage of bed perimeter

Horseshoe Wedge (Universal)

The Posey Horseshoe Wedge is designed to help protect patients from injury or entrapment by closing gaps around the headboard/footboard of the bed. This safety product provides the following features:

  • Quick-release, two-point press buckles and hook-and-loop straps for easy attachment
  • Made of durable medium-density foam to help safeguard against accidental patient injury
  • Wipe-clean, water-repellant cover
  • Can be adjoined (via sewn-in zipper) to a Posey Side Rail Wedge (see SKU 5708, listed above) for expanded coverage of bed perimeter
