Posey Bed A-Frame Canopy System

The Posey® Bed 8060 is an A-frame canopy system designed to provide a safe, controlled environment for patients at risk of injury from an unassisted bed exit.

A replacement canopy is available.

 

Posey Bed A-Frame Canopy System

The Posey Bed 8060 includes a Metal A-Frame and Mesh Canopy with mattress compartment. It does not include a bed frame and mattress. Key features:

  • Canopy made of water-repellent, skin-friendly, durable nylon
  • Eliminates the need for side rails when the patient is alone, which mitigates the risk of patient becoming trapped in the side rails or between the mattress and side rails
  • Enclosed mattress compartment helps reduce the risk of patient entrapment and expands to fit select mattresses
  • Four access panels facilitate patient care from all four sides of the bed
  • Ten access ports: eight tube ports and two drainage ports
  • Quick-release buckles help lock the zipper pull-tabs to keep patient from self-releasing
  • Foam canopy pads wrap around the metal canopy frame to help protect the patient

Posey Bed Canopy (8060T)

The Posey Bed Canopy (8060T) is a replacement canopy designed specifically for the Posey Bed 8060. Features include:

  • Canopy made of water-repellent, skin-friendly, durable nylon
  • Four access panels facilitate patient care from all four sides of the bed
  • Ten access ports: eight tube ports and two drainage ports
  • Quick-release buckles help lock the zipper pull-tabs to keep patient from self-releasing
  • Foam canopy pads wrap around the metal canopy frame to help protect the patient
  • Compatible with SKU 8060 (i.e., the Posey Bed model described on this page)
