Bed-Only Belts: These Posey Belts are compatible with hospital beds only. Self-releasing and restraint options are available, as are a variety of hospital bed connection options.
Chair-Only Belts: These Posey Belts are compatible with wheelchairs/chairs only. Each is a self-releasing device, although the belt’s flap release can be positioned for caregiver-assisted release. A variety of wheelchair/chair connection options are available.
Bed/Chair Sensors: Posey HeadStart® Notification Sensors, part of our Falls Prevention product line, use a unique dual-release design that activates as the first yellow strap on the sensor is unfastened. A secondary release helps provide additional time before the patient exits the bed or chair.
