Patient Restraints: Non-Locking Twice-As-Tough Cuffs (Hook & Loop Closure)

Posey® Twice-As-Tough® Cuffs (Non-Locking) are designed to limit the movement of wrists and/or ankles in patients assessed to be at risk of disrupting life-saving treatment, pulling lines/tubes, exacerbating skin conditions, compromising wound site integrity, or self-injury. They are used in medical (NVNSD) and behavioral health (VSD) treatments.

These heavy-duty restraint cuffs are gentle on skin. Neoprene fabric, nylon straps, and reinforced stitching provide extra strength* and durability.

All Twice-As-Tough Cuffs on this page use hook-and-loop fasteners to secure the patient cuff and anchor strap:

  • 2” width provides increased strength between hook and loop
  • Press to apply, peel to release
