The Posey® Enclosure Bed is a complete bed system designed to provide a safe, controlled environment for patients at risk of injury from an unassisted bed exit.

 

Posey Enclosure Bed

The Posey Enclosure Bed includes a canopy, a frame, and a hospital bed. This complete bed system provides the following features:

  • Canopy made of water-repellent, skin-friendly, durable nylon
  • Perimeter guards for temporary use during patient care
  • Locking casters to secure bed during patient transfers and when patient is unattended
  • Four access panels facilitate patient care from all four sides of the bed
  • Four tube ports provide multiple locations via which to feed tubes and lines from the patient
  • Quick-release buckles help lock the zipper pull-tabs to keep patient from self-releasing
  • Foam canopy pads wrap around the metal canopy frame to help protect the patient

Posey Bed Canopy

The Posey Bed Canopy is a replacement canopy designed specifically for the Posey Enclosure Bed. Features include:

  • Canopy made of water-repellent, skin-friendly, durable nylon
  • Four access panels facilitate patient care from all four sides of the bed
  • Four tube ports provide multiple locations via which to feed tubes and lines from the patient
  • Quick-release buckles help lock the zipper pull-tabs to keep patient from self-releasing
  • Foam canopy pads wrap around the metal canopy frame to help protect the patient
  • Compatible with SKU 8075 and SKU 8070 (i.e., the Posey Enclosure Bed models on this page)
