Supplier Code of Conduct

SUPPLIER POLICIES

TIDI Products, LLC has a long tradition of supporting caregivers and preventing infections by creating specific single-use infection prevention solutions to meet the needs of healthcare professionals, staff, and patients. TIDI Products, LLC operates to the highest standard of honesty and integrity.
The TIDI Products, LLC Suppliers Code of Conduct document is based on recognized international standards, principles, and best practices. TIDI Products and its suppliers are always subject to additional responsibility requirements stated by local, national, and/or international law.

 

GENERAL LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Suppliers shall comply with all laws, rules, and regulations, including labor, health and safety, trade, environmental, and all further requirements dictated by local, national, and/or international law, in their respective countries where their products or services are sold, manufactured, or where raw materials are sourced.

 

LABOR AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Prevention of Underage Labor

Suppliers shall employ only workers who meet applicable minimum legal age requirements and must comply with all other applicable child labor laws.

Prevention of Involuntary Labor

Suppliers shall not engage in or support human trafficking or use any form of bonded, indentured, involuntary prison labor, or forced labor, slavery, or servitude. All work shall be voluntary, and workers shall be free to leave work or terminate their employment upon reasonable notice. Suppliers must comply with all relevant laws relating to slavery, human trafficking, and child labor, stated by local, national, and/or international law.

Fair Treatment

Suppliers shall ensure the workplace be free of harassment. Workers shall not be threatened in any way or subject to any sort of harsh or inhumane treatment, which includes (but is not restricted to) mental or physical coercion, sexual harassment or abuse, corporal punishment, or verbal abuse.

Discrimination

Suppliers shall promote a diverse work environment free of any sort of discrimination based on (but not restricted to) race, color, ethnicity or national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religious views, political affiliation, or marital status. Suppliers will be compliant with all applicable human rights and employment laws.

Working Hours

Working hours or overtime hours shall not exceed the maximum permitted by applicable laws and regulations. During working hours regular and appropriate break periods shall be provided. Workers shall be entitled to vacation, leave time, and statutory holidays according to applicable local laws and regulations.

 
 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Suppliers shall commit to ensuring safe working conditions and a healthy working environment for their workers. Suppliers shall comply with all the applicable health and safety related laws and regulations.

 

ENVIRONMENT

Environmental Permits and Reporting

Suppliers shall make sure that they obtain, keep current, and follow the reporting guidelines of all required environmental permits and registrations.

Hazardous Materials and Product Safety

Suppliers shall identify hazardous materials, chemicals, and substances, and ensure their safe handling, movement, storage, recycling, reuse, and disposal. All the applicable laws and regulations related to hazardous materials, chemicals, and substances shall be strictly followed.

Conflict Minerals

Suppliers will provide suitable documentation verifying the sources of conflict minerals used in products sold/provided to TIDI Products, if applicable.

 

BUSINESS ETHICS

Integrity, Transparency and Fair Business

Suppliers are required to commit to the highest standards of ethical conduct. Suppliers shall strictly follow all the applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations. Suppliers are always expected to uphold standards to safeguard fair conduct of business, competition, and not to obtain any undue advantages.

Protection of Intellectual Property

Suppliers shall understand their role as custodians of customers’ information. Intellectual property rights shall be respected, and all use of technology, information, and know-how shall be conducted in a manner which does not endanger the intellectual property of TIDI Products.

Audits and Assessments

TIDI Products may use its own audit process, and/or external auditors, to assess compliance. TIDI Products may also ask for periodic self-assessments. There shall be a process for written corrective action for deficiencies identified in audits, assessments, and inspections. Satisfactory documentation shall be completed, on time, which lists action steps required to correct the deficiencies.

Conflicts of Interest

Suppliers must not engage in, directly or indirectly, business transactions that may create a conflict of interest.

 

COMPLIANCE MONITORING

Proper Identification of Products

Suppliers must accurately represent offered product traits and characteristics, including any trademarks, trade names, patents or copyrights, country of origin, and other product data.

Right to Inspection

Suppliers shall grant TIDI Products, its representatives, or agents’ access to facilities and relevant records associated with the products or services provided to TIDI Products.

TIDI Products is committed to legal compliance and ethical business practices in all our operations worldwide and is firm in our resolve to do business only with those suppliers which we believe share in that commitment. Our Supplier Code of Conduct states that “Suppliers shall comply with all laws, rules and regulations, including labor, health and safety, trade, environmental, and all further requirements dictated by local, national, and/or international law, in their respective countries where their products or services are sold, manufactured, or where raw materials are sourced.”
